Description

GRADE II. GARDEN SEAT. C18. IN THE FORM OF A SMALL TEMPLE. PORTLAND STONE DOORWAY WITH RUSTICATED IONIC PILASTERS, FRIEZE AND CORNICE AND PEDIMENT WITH MUTULES. LOW FLINT WALLS LEFT AND RIGHT. INSIDE A CHINESE STYLE WOODEN SEAT (B3).
Condition survey carried out in October 2007 by Oxley Conservation concluded building in a poor condition, although apparently not much changed since 1999 and requiring repairs. See report for detail (B11).
