Description

GRADE II+. EARLY C18 AND ALMOST CERTAINLY BY COLEN CAMPBELL. OPEN CIRCULAR BUILDING. SIX ROMAN DORIC COLUMNS, ENTABLATURE & FRIEZE DECORATED WITH SWAGS. DOME. INSIDE THE DOME, PLASTER DECORATION OF PUTTI WITH VINES (B3).
Condition survey carried out in October 2007 by Oxley Conservation concluded building in a poor condition although apparently not much changed since 1999,but requiring repairs. See report for detail (B11).
