Description

Dimensions - Length 13c.m
Rolled and stained cleaver from Langley Pit, probably from gravel rather than brickearth. From British Museum's Sturge Collection (B1,B3-4).
Langley Marsh and Langley Brickworks, Wexham. The palaeoliths consist of 19 acheulean handaxes, one cleaver and two levaloisian flakes (B6)
