Description

Evaluation trial trenching carried out by Cotswold Archaeoogy in April 2022 in advance of proposed redevelopment for housing, identified the foundations of a post-medieval brick wall, possibly a garden or boundary wall of late 18th century date in trench 11. See report for detail (B11).
Wall didn't extend into adjacent trenches so presumably a relatively small structure; and not shown on 1st edition 25-inch OS map.
