Description

Grade II. Former lodge, now part used as garage. Early C19. Knapped flint with whitewashed brick dressings, hipped slate roof. One storey, 3 bays. Narrow pilasters of whitewashed brick at angles and flanking each opening. Right bays have Gothick arched windows with Y-tracery, leaded glazing, whitewashed brick surrounds, and outer arches of unknapped flint. Left bay has 6-panelled arched door in similar surround. Gabled timber porch with fishscale slate roof, shaped bargeboards and arched bracing. Central chimney with flint panels. Each side has 2 bays of similar Gothick windows, rear altered with C20 garage entry to left (B4).
