MR ELVEY STATES THAT WITHIN MEMORY OF OWNER, FARM WAS ONCE COMPLETELY MOATED, & PARTS REMAIN. NO DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT THIS (B2). MAP SHOWS WATER S OF FARM, PARALLEL TO LANE. THIS STILL EXISTS AS DITCH. NO OTHER GROUND REMAINS, BUT BUILDING HAS ENCROACHED. PROB NOT MOAT (B4). NGR TO CENTRE OF FARM.
