LICENCE TO HOLD MASSES IN CHAPEL AT SYNKELBURGH GRANTED 1420. NO MENTION OF CHAPEL IN PARISH REGISTERS. SITE IS PERHAPS AN H-SHAPED EARTHWORK IN A FIELD AT SINGLEBOROUGH (B1(1856)).
