Plan Form - LINEAR
A NUMBER OF 'HOLLOW WAYS' (& APPROX 9 HOUSE PLATFORMS) FOUND WHILE FIELDWALKING; VISIBLE ON APS. SITE IS 900METRES NW OF GT HORWOOD CHURCH (B1). SKETCH ON CAS CARD



SP 77623190. House platforms and streets were discovered by E J Bull. The site fills a whole field, and its limits are shown by pronounced rig and furrow (B4).
The amorphous remains of two or three enclosures bounded by depressions and baulks. No coherent pattern of settlement is discernible. The remains almost certainly constitute a detached part of Great Horwood Md village (B5).
