Description
Plan Form - Oval.
Excavation by Day Kimball, 1932. 1 long slip trench across interior 143m long, 75cm wide. 4 small trenches across triangular outwork and & 2 trenches just inside & parallel to defences on SE & NE sides. Features included hearths, bloomeries, an oven (01:100; 01:200; 01:300) pottery (01:001)(B2,B6,B11-12).
