EXCAVATION BY DAY KIMBALL, 1932. 1 LONG SLIP TRENCH ACROSS INTERIOR 143M LONG, 75CM WIDE. 4 SMALL TRENCHES ACROSS TRIANGULAR OUTWORK & 2 JUST INSIDE & PARALLEL TO DEFENCES ON SE & NE SIDES. FEATURES INCLUDED HEARTHS, BLOOMERIES, AN OVEN (01:100; 01:200; 01:300) POTTERY (01:001)(B2,B6,B11-12).
