Description

NO TRACE OF SETTLEMENT FOUND IN AREA AROUND CHAPEL. MANAGER OF MOOR FARM SAID THAT SMALL AREAS OF BANKS & HUMMOCKS LEVELLED IN FIELD AT NGR C.1960 (B12 ).
MED & POST-MED TILE IN PLOUGHSOIL NE OF CHAPEL PERHAPS INDICATES OLD SETTLEMENT. OTHERWISE SETTLEMENT MAY HAVE BEEN CONCENTRATED AROUND MOOR FM (B11).
