Description

IRON SLAG (TAP SLAG) FOUND FROM SPUR OF LAND C150M SOUTH-WEST OF TOUCHBRIDGE FARM. A SAMPLE WAS COLLECTED. THE PRESENCE OF TAP SLAG IMPLIES SMELTING AT OR NEAR THIS SITE (B3)
More finds of tap slag were reported to Buckinghamshire County Museum in 1997 (B4).
