A LBA SWORD FOUND DOWNSTREAM OF TOWNSEND'S BOATYARD, BOURNE END (B6-8).

Late Bronze Age sword, found downstream from Townsend's boat house,Bourne End,in 1950. Acc. No. 57:50. On loan to Reading Museum. (B15)

Townsend's boat house is at SU 8910 8726. Find sited to area centred at SU 891871. (B16)
