Description

One L-shaped wall forming the corner of a building. Constructed using unfrogged bricks in regular coursing. Bonding material used is a creamy-grey mortar of hard compaction. Three walls were constructed using worked stone. Outer edges of dividing walls lined with worked stone creating staight edges. The internal core comprising roughly hewn stone. Similar bonding material to the L-shaped was. Brick drains also identified. Brick types appear to be manfactured from the 18th century onwards (B1).
