Description

Low earthworks, 1.4m wide and up to 0.30m high, of a probable enclosurwe in Duncombe Terrace Wood. Wainwright's plan appears to show a roughly east-west enclosure with a possible south entrance connected to the trackway and possibly linking to the farmstead to the north-west forming a coherent farm unit. The quarry may be later than the farmstead and enclosure, but may also relate to the construction of the farmstead [PRN 0783401000] (B1).
