Description

The trackway, c3m wide and 0.5m deep, appears to have worn /cut into the south facing slope. The feature lies within woodland and is traceable throughout. In places there seem to be a slight secondary, or short sections of alternative trackway. The form of these earthworks may suggst that the trackway has devoloped along the course of old lynchets. Routway is first noted on Grey's 1762 mapof the Ashridge Estate (B1).
