Description

Building platform (National Trust SMR 154114), the site of a probable 14th century tithe barn, likely to have stood until c 1648. A building is shown on the site in 1762, but not 1806 or 1809. Interpreted by Wainwright (1990s) as the location of a tithe barn described as 'a new barn' in an account roll of 1309-1310 (B1).
