Description

in total 4 sets of skeletal remains were recorded within the soakaway trench to the south of the church. All the inhumations were aligned east-west. Two probable grave cuts were also recorded. Two of the graves contained individuals estimated to be 9-10 and 15-18. The other two identifed as adults. Limited evidence, in the form of nails, suggests that two of the burials had been intered within coffins. Coffins being the most common container throughout the 11th-16th centuries (B10).
