Description

Great Marlow Railway opened on 1 July 1873. It was worked by GWR and amalgamated with that company on 1 July 1897. History and photographs (B1).
The Marlow branch line from Bourne End opened in 1873, it was initially run as a joint project between the Great Marlow Railway Company (established 1868) and the Great Western Railway. It was absorbed by the Great Western Railway in 1897. The associated Bourne-End High Wycombe section of the Wycombe railway was closed in the 1970s (B2).
