Description
A cross ride connects the west and east boundaries of The Grove, between a projecting bastion at the west end and the Up and down Temple to the east. A circuit leads from the Up and Down Temple south to Waller's Seat (Milton's Cave) in the south-east corner (B7).
Condition survey carried out in October 2007 by Oxley Conservation concluded structure in a poor condition although apparently not much changed since 1999, and requiring repairs. See report for detail (B11).
The 'Up and Down Temple' assumed to be the same building as Oxley's 'Doric Temple'.
