Description
Brass plaque in St Michael and All Angels church, Aston Clinton to commemorate the 9 crew of USAF B24 who were killed when their plane crashed on the village on 3rd January 1945 (B1).
The plaque commemorates the 10 American airmen killed when their plane crashed in Aston Clinton immediately following take-off from Cheddington on a mission to drop leaflets over German occupied Holland. The memorial was dedicated on 4th June 2000 (B2).
