MOUND WAS C 6FT HIGH & 30FT IN DIAMETER AT BASE, THOUGH PARTLY DESTROYED, 1913 (B2).
TOTAL EMERGENCY EXCAVATION AHEAD OF ROAD WIDENING FOUND AN INTRUSIVE PIT & 1 SHERD OF ?C1 AD POTTERY, SO, MOUND IS ROMAN/POST ROMAN? (B3).
MOUND HAD QUITE DISAPPEARED BY 1977 (B6).
NGR TO 'TUMULUS', MARKED ON OS MAP (B4).
