Description

Two brass plaques fixed on a single oak mount measuring 61cm (h) by 46cm (w) located in a side chapel of the church. In good condition. These commemorate local people who died on active service during WW1 and WW2. The monument was previously located at the former Congregational Church until the mid 1980s when the church became a private dwelling. These were saved from disposal by a concerned individual. The monument was unveiled in the Congregational Church on 6th March 1921 (B1).
