Description

The tomb was erected by Lord Nugent following the discovery in 1818, of the burial site of 60 soldiers in the field adjoining Holman's Bridge. It was the scene of an engagement in 1642 of Charles I's troops commanded by Prince Rupert and the Parliamentary Troops who held Aylesbury. Condition unknown.
