Description
Traces of village enclosure. Ditch & bank still formidable at NW side. Distinct traces of the ring-fence remain about the village site. Cublinghton known to have been transferred to a new, unfenced site c.1400, when such stockades no longer needed (B4-5).
Scale & location suggest probably part of bailey (B12,B16).
