HAMLET & MANOR OF BRAGENHAM HAD 10 FAMILIES, REIGN OF ELIZABETH I (1558-1603). BECAME 1 LARGE GRAZING FARM, WITH MANOR HOUSE OCCUPIED BY SINGLE TENANT. FORMER CHAPEL DEMOLISHED. NO SIGN OF VILLAGE/HAMLET LEFT BY 1847 (B1).
