Description

QUARRY Q3 WAS 2 LARGE IRREGULAR PITS PROBABLY CUT TO EXTRACT SAND FROM BELOW THE SURFACE LIMESTONE. FILLS INCLUDED ST NEOTS TYPE WARE, SPARSE SAXON POTTERY, C12 MATERIAL & LAVA QUERN FRAGMENTS. SOME POST-MEDIEVAL MATERIAL INDICATES LATER DISTURBANCE (B1).
