Description

Record of land alienated in 1327 for prayers to be said for the Walter and Lucy de Shobington in Little Kimble church, probably the foundation of the chantry chapel. Chantry in Little Kimble mentioned in a grant by Queen Elizabeth but no certificate of its dissolution under Edward VI (B4).
