1912 DESCRIBED AS HILL CAMP. CLAIMS DISGUISED BY SERIES OF PATHS & CHALK PITS (B1).
NOTED AS UNIVALLATE HILLFORT (B2).
CLAIM THAT ABSENCE OF FINDS POSSIBLY INDICATES CIVIL WAR CONNECTION (B3).
DEBATE OVER NATURE OF THE EARTHWORKS; SEEMS MOST LIKELY NOT TO BE A HILLFORT (B4,B6).
