PIT OR CESSPOOL FOUND AT NE CORNER OF VILLA FOUNDATIONS DURING EXCAVATION BY J S STONE OF TERRICK HOUSE, SEPT 1858. CAME CLOSE UP TO FOUNDATION & ROUND CORNER. SOIL WITHIN ASHES, APPARENTLY OF WOOD, WOOD CHARCOAL & A VERY BLACK MOULD (B3).
