ASSEMBLAGE FROM MESOLITHIC FLINT WORKING SITE, MAINLY FROM SPOIL HEAPS OF EXCAVATED SAND FROM SAND PIT. FOUND BY J PLOWMAN. NO IMPLEMENTS FOUND IN-SITU, BUT THICK DARK LAYER SEEN 60CM BELOW SURFACE, OVERLAIN BY SAND. (PERHAPS B-HORIZON OF PODSOL) (B4).
ASSEMBLAGE SUGGESTS VERY TEMPORARY WORKING FLOOR (B1-3).
