V-SHAPED DITCH VISIBLE IN E & W FACES OF GRAVEL PIT ADJOINING HAMBLEDEN ROAD, DITCH FILLED WITH ROMAN & LATE CELTIC DEBRIS. DITCH RAN W UP TO ENTRANCE OF VILLA ENCLOSURE (B1).
AP'S SHOW PART OF A REGULAR ENCLOSURE, AT LEAST 60M WIDE, UP TO FIELD BOUNDARY (B14).
DITCH HAD MID C1 SAMIAN. ?FORT (B10).
