POND ENCLOSED BY BANKS. ALONGSIDE A NORTHERN BANK IS AN ARTIFICIAL STREAM CHANNEL. SHORT LENGTH OF BANK ON S SIDE (B3).
POND FORMED BY SUBSTANTIAL N-S DAM ACROSS RIVER RAY DEFINED ON N SIDE BY A BANK & OVERFLOW CHANNEL. DETAILED EARTHWORK SURVEY & TEST PITS SUGGEST SITE WAS A FISHPOND, NOT A MILL (SEE REPORT)(B6).
A single large 'pond bay' on the River Ray. Covers about 4.4 acres (B7).
