Description

MILL AT SHIPTON LEE, KNOWN AS 'FIDDLERS' MENTIONED AS ONE OF THE TEMPORALITIES OF THAME ABBEY IN AN ACCOUNT OF 1291. NOW LONG DESTROYED, BUT SITE CAN STILL BE TRACED ON A BANK IN SE PART OF HAMLET NEAR FIDDLER'S FIELD, DODDERSHALL (B1).
