Description

POTTERY FROM THE SITE INCLUDED PLAIN & DECORATED SAMIAN, RHENISH, NEW FOREST, SANDFORD, BELGIC & MUCH COARSE POTTERY (FULL REPORT)(B1,B9).
SAMIAN IDENTIFIED BY DR GRACE SIMPSON AS CLAUDIO/NERONIAN. DRAWN. SOME OF THIS COMES FROM THE 'V' DITCH(20:000) (B10).
Pottery assemblage being reassessed and catalogued in 2008-9 as part of the 'Romans in the Hambleden Valley' community archaeology project (B24).
