10 ROMAN, 9 MED SHERDS FOUND IN EXCAVATION; ALSO 12 SHERDS EITHER MED OR ROMAN. A SAMIAN SHERD SUGGESTS LOCAL ACTIVITY BEFORE END OF C3AD. MEDIEVAL SHERDS ARE MOSTLY A FINE GREY WARE WITH FINE BLACK SAND FILLER & ALL WALL SHERDS EXCEPT 1 RIM (BI2)
