Description

A magnetometer survey carried out by Archaeological Surveys Ltd along a proposed electricity cable route from Iver to Slough identified anomalies interpretted as linear features that may have been associated with the WWII anti aircraft batter, and a possible pit. See report for detail (B1).
Excavation identified pits and ditches dating from the Iron Age through to the medieval (B2).
