Probable eighteenth to ineteenth century cast iron milepost on A418 outside Bugle Horn PH in Hartwell at Sedrup Lane junction. Present in 2002 on updated Milestones Society survey website on Shillingford to Aylesbury route National ID number BU_AYTH02. Recorded as milestone on current OS map. On north side of road 49.5cm wide 23cm deep 99cm high. Inscription : top: HARTWELL PARISH : left: TO THAME 8 MILES: right: TO AYLES- - BURY 2 MILES. Supported by notes on microfiched OSD Surveyors drawings (1814) and notes on 1" County Map (1835). Were in Bucks County Museum now in Centre for Bucks Studies.
