Probable eighteenth to nineteenth century cast iron milepost on A41 just east of Waddesdon village. Recorded as present in 2002 on Milestones Society website on Aylesbury to Bicester route National ID number BU_LCB43. On north side of road. 54cm wide, 35cm deep, 114cm high. 'On grass verge painted around 1997'. Inscription: top: LONDON 43: left: TO AYLESBURY 5 MILES: front: WADDESDON PARISH: right: TO BICESTER 11 MILES. Further inscription on back top LONDON RI & II.
