Description

Probable eighteenth to nineteenth century milestone west of Terrick on A4010. Inscription poor on front only. ???? ???? W C BL ?? (WYCOMBE). Height 36 inches top 16 by 11 inches. On verge. Not on latest edition of OS map so estimated from 1st edition 25". [ Drawings, location and photographs available ] (B1).
Recorded as present in 2004 on updated Milestones Society website on Wycombe to Aylesbury route National ID number BU_WYAY12. On Risborough Road Ellesborough 20 m south of bus stop. 40 cm wide 23 cm deep 77 cm high. On west side of road. Paint very chipped. Inscription: ' ? read Aylesbury 4 Risborough ?.
