EGYPTIAN USHABTI FIGURINE FOUND IN GRAVEL QUARRY. MADE BETWEEN 600 & 300 BC. UNCLEAR HOW IT CAME TO BE IN QUARRY: 3 MAIN IDEAS. 1. FROM BALLAST FROM THAMES DREDGING OPERATIONS 2. GRAND TOUR IMPORT OR 3. POSSIBLY BROUGHT BY ROMAN SOLDIERS OR MERCHANTS AS PART OF ORIENTAL CULT.(NEWSPAPER PHOTO)(B4).
