BOURTON HAMLET, OF C.1000 ACRES EXTENT; NO OF FAMILIES NOW (1755) ONLY 12, THOUGH BEFORE THE ENCLOSURES HERE WERE-- AS MANY GOOD FARMHOUSES, BESIDE COTTAGES & OTHER TENEMENTS (B1).
