Description

The National School, 1870-1 by Devey but unrecognizable now it has been shorn of its Dutch gables (B1).
The National School stands on the glebe land, and is a neat substantial building erected in 1840, at the sole cost of the present Vicar. About 50 children attend (B2).
C19 School House with decorative brickwork façade. Prominent in views along School Lane. Modern metal windows and extensions to sides. Tall brick chimneys. Rubblestone and brick boundary wall. A local note building in the Conservation Area of Dinton, Westlington, Upton and Gibraltar (B3).
