Description

Magnetic and electrical resistance surveys were carried out on land at Langley Park. The majority of anomalies detected reflect modern activities or features visible on the surface. The exceptions include a well and path evident on the OS map of 1924 and possible traces of a path depicted on the OS map of 1899. The resistance survey also detected possible former garden features to the south and southwest of the house. A possible ditch was also detected in the southwest of the survey by the magnetic survey. Additional anomalies detected in the north of the survey may also have been of archaeological origin (B23).
