  • DITCH (Post-Medieval - 1540 AD? to 1798 AD?)
  • FIELD BOUNDARY? (Post-Medieval - 1540 AD? to 1798 AD?)

Description

Two small ditches were located to the south of the site, which was excavated in advance of gravel extraction. These were probably located in geophysical survey before excavation. They were not dated and could easily be of post-medieval date. They appear to be field or boundary features not closely associated with occupation (B2). A series of parallel ditches and pits was detected in a geophysical survey (B3).
