SITE INDICATED BY SCATTER OF RB & MED MATERIAL. TRIAL TRENCH CUT 1959, FURTHER EXCAVATION 1960. 'RUBBLE FLOOR BELOW (GROUND) SURFACE DROPPED TO DEPTH OF 4FT, INTO A DEEP LAYER OF ASH, CONTAINING POTTERY, BONES, & BURNED VEGETATION. (WERE) MASONRY FORMATIONS SLIGHTLY RAISED FROM FLOOR' (B1-MORE INFO).
