Description

Grade II. Chest tomb with attached railings. C18. For Dalrymple family. Ashlar tomb with iron railings. Rectangular podium supports railed enclosure within which is large chest tomb on plinth. Chest has fluted angle pilasters and decorative incised side- and end-panels, the former bearing commemorative inscriptions. Moulded edge to lid. Railings have spiked bars and urn-finialled standards. A good-quality C18 churchyard monument (B1).
