Description

Grade II. Pair of gatepiers. Circa 1700. Ashlar stone. Chamfered plinth. Square pier with moulded cornice cap above pulvinated frieze. Banded ball finials on open ogee plinths. The piers were moved to their present location in 1890 from further east. RCHM I. 126. MON.5 (PART) (B7).
