Description

Garde II. Barn and cattleshed. C18 and C19. Witchert, roughcast, on a rubblestone plinth. Barn range has old tile roof, cattleshed asbestos roofed. Barn of 3 bays with central entry. Draught door faces north and flanked by raking buttresses. Outer bays on north have triangular ventilation slits. Weatherboard east gable. Double purlin roofs with curved principals and upper collar. Further 2 bays to left with hipped gable and C19 machine made kingpost trusses. Cattleshed as west wing of 4 bays with weatherboarded farmyard elevation. Single purlin roof with queen strut and collar trusses. RCHM I. p112. MON.10 (PART) (B8).
