Description

CHAPEL OF ST MARGARET STOOD AT GATE OF BIDDESDEN ABBEY (B2).
AFTER DESTRUCTION OF ABBEY CHURCH (C16) WAS USED AS A PARISH CHURCH. IN 1712 WAS A 'LITTLE TYLED FABRICK', WITH 'A BELL IN A TURRITT', 40/50FT LONG, 16/17FT WIDE. DEMOLISHED, GRAVEYARD DESECRATED, C.1737; REPLACED BY PRESENT PARISH CHURCH (B1).
