IN RENEWING FLOOR, 3 LARGE COFFIN-LID FRAGMENTS FOUND; FOOT-END WAS MISSING. COFFIN ORIENTATED E-W. GRAVE CUT SHOWED IN SECTION. DATED TO C13; EXCAVATION SUGGESTED IT WAS RE-BURIED WHEN S AISLE REBUILT IN L ATE C14, WITH TOP OF LID FLUSH WITH NEW FLOOR. GRAFFITI IN LOMBARDIC LETTERING (FURTHER DETAIL) (B7).
